He was predeceased by: his father Luther Raford Wooten; his daughter-in-law Pamela Wooten; and his siblings, Lela Westmorland, Irene Hussey, Mildred Mustin, Ruth Settle, Minnie Adams, Jesse Wooten, Pat Wooten, Howard Wooten and Jay Wooten.
He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Matthews Wooten; his children, Lisa Wooten Shakil (Tony Shakil) and Chris Wooten; his grandchildren, Sara Shakil, Farrah Shakil, Matthew Wooten, Michael Wooten (Sidney) and Wyatt Wooten (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Oliver Wooten, Dallas Wooten and Hailey Wooten; and his siblings, Dorothy Eldrith (Allen) and Phillip Wooten (Joan).
