He is survived by: his wife Wilma Haynes; his children, Carolyn Sandoval, Wanda Smith (David), Janet Watkins, Kathryn Porter and John Lawrence Haynes (Debbie); and his sister Anne Haynes Jenkins. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
