He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Charles Herko and Retta Herko-Pierce of Florida; his children, Shane Thomas Herko, Emily Brooke Herko and Abigail Grace Herko; his sisters, Rebecca Rosso and Rachel Herko; his stepfather Mike Pierce; his close friend Denean Kelly; and the mother of his children Lynne Herko.
