With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Whitaker (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 8, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Teague and Aralee Vestal; her husband Charles "Omer" Whitaker; and her son Gary Whitaker. She is survived by: her son Dennis Whitaker (Bridget); her grandchildren, Shelley Harvey (Sam), Keara Sanders (Robert) and Tanner Whitaker (Daniela); her great grandchild Logan Scott Sanders; her daughter-in-law Susan Whitaker; and her close friends, Nellie and Sherrill Peele.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
