It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Wade Brown (Yadkinville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wade and Annie Pearl Hobson Brown; his sisters, Barbara Jean Willard and Shirley Brown McCollum; and his great great grandchild Paisley Anne Trivette.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Moxley Brown; his daughters, Jamie Brown Wooten (Paul, Jr.) and Jennifer Brown Eller (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Courtney Wooten Trivette (Jacob), Chelsey Wooten Hennings (Nathan), Cody Eller (Christina) and Callie Adair (Branden); and his great grandchildren, Ben Trivette (Emma), Brady Trivette, Bellamy Trivette, Skyler Eller, Rylie Eller, Levi Eller, Mayleigh Imbler, Chase Adair and Adrian Adair.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Cross Friends Meeting Cemetery (2533 Union Cross Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Mountain Valley Hospice, 516 Hawthorne Drive, Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to Union Cross Friends Cemetery Fund, 2533 Union Cross Church Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
