He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Newman Bowman and Arthur Alexander Bowman; his stepmother Johnnie Mae Bowman; his daughter Inge Parker; his siblings, Virginia Kirby and Dewey Bowman; and his brother-in-law Stephen Jumper.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Jumper Bowman; his children, Greta Shuler (Jeff) and Jon Bowman (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Savanna Parker, Andrew Parker, Jason Shuler (Desiree), Justin Shuler (Kayla), Jordan Shuler, Jonathan Bowman II and Jared Bowman (Mick Moxley); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Zoe, Sofia Shuler and Knox Shuler; his mother-in-law E. A. Jumper; his siblings, Delores Yokely and Joseph Bowman (Lois); his son-in-law Cregg Parker (Karen); his sisters-in-law, Dianne Everhart (Gary) and Cynthia Donley (Doug); and his close friend Mister Darcy.
