She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dennis and Opal Mae Cox Sharp; and her son Jeremy Kent Spaulding. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Carl Spaulding; her children, Jennifer Hemric (Van) and Jamie Spaulding (Lori); her grandchildren, Ashton Davis (Taylor), Colton, Kylie, Kaleb Hemric, Caleb and Joshua Spaulding; her great grandchild Nora Davis; her aunt Minnie Coats; and her close friend Sugar.
