He is survived by: his children, Kent Somers (Hazel), Lynn Somers (Cynthia) and Jan Somers; his grandchildren, Todd Somers, Chris Somers (Jennifer), Adam Somers (Tresa), Heather Tilley (Michael), Amber Brown (Jason), Amy Blizard (Donald), Austin Somers (Kaitlyn) and Tanner Somers; and his sister Evalene Henderson (Gene). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, Building Fund, 760 Union Bapt.
