He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Franklin Chatman, Sr. and Bertha Pruitt Chatman; and his wife Marie Simmons Chatman. He is survived by: his children, Grady "Lin" Franklin Chatman III (Becky Midkiff) and Tina Stevenson (Adrian); his grandchildren, Tim Jarvis, Daniel Jarvis, Sarah Romano, Nicholas Romano and Matthew Romano; his sister Chris Berrier (Ken); and his aunt Bobbie Tucker. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
