She was predeceased by: her parents, Eriv Speer and Myrtle Collins Speer; her husband Lindsay Raymond Gunter; her son Steve Gunter; her great grandchildren, Janet Sidden and Alexis Jade Blanton; her siblings, Ruby Goss, Leo, William and Roy; and her sons-in-law, Gary Sidden and Paul Melrose.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sidden, Shirley Shore (Lee), Wayne Gunter (Angie Turner), Marie Melrose, Becky Mauldin (Johnny), Brenda Settles (Bobby) and Terry Gunter (Nadia); her daughter-in-law Earlene Gunter Norman; her siblings, Bonnie Harris and David Speer (Pam); and her sisters-in-law, Lib Speer, Christine Speer and Bonnie Gunter. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
