It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Lilly of Yadkinville, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, West Virginia, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David James and Ruth Meadows Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Swearengin Lilly; his children, Michael Shane Lilly (Tracy), Stephanie Nifong (Daniel) and Mark Lilly (Christina); his grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, Cassie, Jacob, Cari and Sara; his mother-in-law Norma Swearengin; his siblings, Annabell McCumbers (David), James Lilly, Frank Lilly (Carolyn), David Lilly, Darryl Lilly (Wanda) and Kenny Lilly (Lisa); and his close friends, Chuck Wiley, John Hopkins and Roger Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to Peace Haven Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 2200 Booger Swamp Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
