He is survived by: his wife Lucy Mae Hutchens Howell; his sons, Clarence Arthur "Sonny" Howell and Kenneth Lee Howell (Margie); his grandchildren, Donna Robertson, Teresa Washak (John), Jeff Howell (Rose) and Julia Howell (James); his great grandchildren, Justin Howell, Noelle Gordon, Andrew Robertson, Johnathan Washak, Joshua Washak, Katlin Howell, Shelby Howell and Sophia Lin; and his great great grandchildren, Lenah, Atalia, Skyler, Alana and Nikola.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Baltimore United Methodist Church, 2419 Baltimore Road, East Bend, NC 27018.
