He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Gray Watkins; his stepfather Raeford Mitchell; and his brother Jerry Mitchell. He is survived by: his mother Linda Baity Mitchell; his wife Maria Hutchens Watkins; his children, Natasha Whyte (Matthew) and Jacob Watkins (Cassidy); his siblings, Crystal Watkins, Marcia Posey (Rudy), Brooke Freeman (David), Robin Miller and Marty Mitchell; and his close friends, Timmy, Jamie Gardner and Steve Cline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
