We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 80, Charles Edward Pilcher (Yadkinville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cephus and Capetolia Grace Rupard Pilcher; and his brothers, James Thomas Pilcher, Harvey Eldridge Pilcher, George Wilson Pilcher and Amos Cephus Pilcher.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Booe Pilcher; his sons, Phillip Pilcher (Tami) and Jonathan Pilcher (Joni); his grandchildren, Lydia Grace Pilcher, Joshua Pilcher, Zeb Pilcher and Clayton Pilcher; his sister Mary Renegar (Norris); his niece Ember White; and his friend Tommy York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Samaritan's Purse 801 Bamboo Road, Boone, NC; or to Trellis Hospice, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC reflecting Charlie's lifelong commitment to helping those in need.
