He was predeceased by: his parents, Haden Lewis and Annie Elizabeth Fox Myers; his wife Peggy Simmons Myers; his siblings, Lydia Myers and Walter Myers; and his son-in-law James McNabb.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Myers of Salisbury, Shirley Vernon (Bill Cave) of Boonville, Roy Myers of Yadkinville and Judy McNabb of Roanoke; his sister Betty Myers of Roanoke; and his sister-in-law Linda Myers of Troutville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
