She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Eugene Bunton and Louise Eldridge Bunton; and her brother Eugene Bunton. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Hemric; her children, Van Hemric (Jennifer) and Amber Hemric; her grandchildren, Ashton Davis (Taylor), Colton, Mallorie Hemric, Kylie and Kaleb Shinault; her great grandchildren, Nora and Abram Davis; her sister Nancy Zwack (Ray); and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Hemric and Vonda Blackburn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Services of Jonesville (4517 Little Mountain Rd, Jonesville, NC 28642). A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hemric Family Cemetery (5043 Highland Grove Pl, Hamptonville, NC 27020).
