She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Conklin and Sallie Dickerson Brown; her husband Carl L. Underwood; and her daughter Karen Adelia Underwood Martin. She is survived by: her grandson Gregory Daye Martin II (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Payton Caroline Martin and Meredith Daye Martin; her sisters-in-law, Sally Underwood Ragan and Lydia Underwood Brendle; and her nieces, Sylvia Stone, Mary Emmons and Carla Pruitt.
