She is survived by: her husband Holton Bryan Shepherd; her sons, Edwin "Bryan" Shepherd (Cheryl) of Yadkinville, Robert Lyon Shepherd (Leah) of Machipongo, VA and Billy Wayne (LeAndra); her grandsons, Reid Thomas Shepherd (Ren) of Richmond, VA, Graham Lyon Shepherd of Richmond, VA and Zane Foster Shepherd of Montvale, VA; her sisters, Sue Lyon Boles of North Carolina and Nancy Lyon Caudill of Roanoke, VA; her nieces and nephews, Wina Caudill Green of Roanoke, VA, Martha Perry Sturgill of Sparta, NC, Carla Bowman of Pinnacle, NC, Angie Johnson of Davidson, NC, Stacie Roberts of Raleigh, NC, Phillip Steven Horton of Independence, VA and Brad Shepherd of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Hugh Gray Shepherd (Carolyn) and Margaret Shepherd.
