He is survived by: his children, Bobbie Gardner and Bryan Brawley (Maria); his grandchildren, Chelsey Gardner Derrick and Chancy Gardner; his stepgrandchildren, Walter Garcia Magana (Isabell), Marvin Garcia Magana and Walmore Garcia Magana (Amber); his great grandchildren, Kylie Derrick and Justice Derrick; his siblings, Peggy Clarkson (Bill), Mildred Hoots and Jim Brawley (Gaynell); and his sister-in-law Janet Carter (Tony). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
