She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Swaim and Lois G. Swaim; and her husband Talmadge "Mitchell" Mastin. She is survived by: her brothers, Michael Dale "Punkin" Swaim of Hamptonville, Roger Lee "Bud" Swaim and Roy Gray "Pete" Swaim; her children, Chris, Keith of North Wilkesboro and Ronda (family: Summer, Chris, Lori); and her grandson Matt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
