She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Eugene Cranfill and Amelia Jane Wood Cranfill; her husband Gentry Dolinger; her sons, Gentry Dolinger, Jr., Gerald Dolinger and Larry Dolinger; her granddaughters, Janet Dolinger and Heather Matthews; and her great grandchild Corbin Hardy.
She is survived by: her children, Violet Hastings (Jimmy), Freddie Dolinger (Lynn), Sue Matthews (Rick) and Melissa Hardy (Mark). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gentry Family Chapel (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the New Hope Baptist Church (4921 Harmony Hwy, Hamptonville, NC 27020).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice in memory of Betty's son, Larry Dolinger.
