She was predeceased by: her father Homer Cooper; her husband Richard Anderson Russell, Sr.; and her siblings, Emma Smith, Frank Cooper, James Cooper, Steve Cooper and Freddie Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Williams, Richard A. Russell, Jr. (Cynthia) and Sharon Russell; her grandchildren, Kelisha Hancock (Deitrich), Tamara Conrad (Joseph) and Lamar Russell (Julie); her great grandchildren, Breanna Hancock, Brittani Hancock, Kameron Conrad, Makhi Russell and Joseph Conrad, Jr.; and her siblings, Lorette Avent, Carolyn Nichols and Donald Cooper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
