She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Shelton and Emma Shelton; her significant other Russell O. Rucker; her son Larry Gene Rucker; her grandson Master Andrew O. Grimes; her children-in-law, Roger "Buck" Grimes, Bruce "Bill" Quesenberry and Cheryl Rucker; and her siblings, Dora Teague (Ted), Sara Reynolds (Gilbert), Julia Weatherman (Raymond), Clifton Shelton (Margie) and Henry Shelton (Zoralee).

She is survived by: her children, Judy Cline, Becky Quesenberry, Jackie Rucker, Sandra Grimes, Beverly Hyatt (Timmie) and Darlene King (Zachary); and her grandchildren, Ronnie Quesenberry (Carla), Russell Quesenberry (Christina), Diane Long, Robert Cline, Roger Grimes (Chasity), Randy Grimes (Marcia), Curtis Rucker, Rocky Hyatt (Valerie), Christina Bray (David), Emily King-Brazier (Michael) and Jocelyn Chatfield (Stephen).

Donations in memorial may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, who provided the most loving care in her final hours.
