She was predeceased by: her parents, Vassilios Saffo (Bill) and Argiro Saffo; and her husband Tony Vassilaros. She is survived by: her children, Elaine (Steele), Argiro, Betty and Leonidas Vassilaros; her grandson Gregory Anthony Steele; and her brothers, Doky (Des) and George Saffo.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.
