He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Powell Holding, Jr. and Jane Kestler Bell Holding; and his sister Tempie Ann Bell Holding. He is survived by: his children, Bob (Robert Powell Holding IV) and Amy Stephenson Tsirbas; his grandchildren, Felix Holding, Robert Powell Holding V, Grace Carolyn Holding, Chrysoula Ivy Tsirbas, Christian Harvey Tsirbas and Edward Jameson Tsirbas; his children-in-law, Laura Holding and Dr. Angelo Tsirbas; his brother Roy Lee Ennis, Jr.; his sister-in-law Denise Ennis; and also, Sharon Minor, Kay Ennis and Kim Lee (Jeff). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, Robbie's brother and sister.
