With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert McGill Palmer LCDR Usn (Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Duvall Palmer III and Mary Jenkins Palmer; and his former wife Harriet Slingluff Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Duvall Palmer IV (Kathy) and Susan Palmer Marciniak (John); and his grandchildren, Mary McGill Palmer Stevens (Nathan), Sam (Kari), Quinn, John (Katy), James (Pattaree), Jesse, Sarah Schafer (Frank) and Robert Palmer Stevens. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
