He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph John McCartan and Mary Frances Young; his wife Patricia Hoff McCartan; his children, Meghan McCartan, Erin O'Malley (Mike) and Michael Patrick McCartan (Minnie); his grandchildren, Coco, Sydney, Juliette, Maddie, Lily, Kasey and Gray McCartan; and his brother Jerry (Carole McCartan).
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (209 S Lumina Ave, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480).
