We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 64, Lorene Carraway Walsh of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Carraway (Luke) and Dorothy Carraway; and her husband Joseph Walsh. She is survived by: her sister Irene Carraway Streng (David James Streng) of Gastonia, NC; her nieces, Diana Streng Knipping (Keith Knipping) of Raleigh, NC and Laurel Meredith Streng of Raleigh, NC; her nephew David James Streng, II (Anna Folkens) of Charlotte, NC; her great-nephew Henry Liam Knipping; and her great-niece Vivian Amelia Knipping.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX, Zimmer Cancer Center here in Wilmington, NC, or Opera House Theater Company in Wilmington.
