He is survived by: his children, Roger McDaniel (Mary) of Woodleaf and Carolyn Arey (Tim) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Courtney McDaniel, Josh Reep (Ashley), Arey and Regana Hawkins (John); his great grandchildren, Tryston, Kelsie, Caleb, Kamryn, Cedric, John II, Corbin, Makayla and Callie; his sister Bonnie McGee (Fid) of China Grove; his sisters-in-law, Joann McDaniel of Murphy and Mary Kathryn McDaniel of Mocksville; and his son-in-law Michael Reep of Woodleaf. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
