He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Wilhelm Kluttz and John Robert Kluttz; his wife Ruby Louise Carscaddon Kluttz; his siblings, Donald Kluttz, Ois Lee Miller, Charlotte Dillon and Mary Hill; and his daughter-in-law Pam Kluttz.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Kluttz of Salisbury, NC, Steve Kluttz (Renae Kluttz) of Woodleaf, NC, Brenda Pulliam (Mike Pulliam) of Cleveland, NC and Peggy Griffiths (David Griffiths) of Dade City, FL; his sister Genevieve Collins of Monroe, NC; and his grandchildren, Travis Kluttz, Wendy Wilson, Jan Pulliam, Scott Griffiths, Angela Lance, Tony Padgett and Treva Wood.
