It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jean Cable (Woodleaf, North Carolina), who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Shirley Mauldin; her daughter Tammy Heller; and her siblings, Barbara Ann Moore, Katie Owens, Mildred Miller and Shirley Mauldin Jr..
She is survived by: her parent Helen Mauldin (Clawson); her husband Samuel "Buck" Cable; her children, Gene Cable (Carol), Debbie Rabon (Arthur) of Mocksville and Dale Allen (Tony) of Mocksville; and her sisters, Judy Mauldin of Woodleaf and Martha Moore of Salisbury. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.
