Harold Russel Chaffin Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Russel Chaffin Sr. of Woodleaf, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Thomas Chaffin Sr. and Kathleen Waller Chaffin. He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy Chaffin (Pat), Wayne Chaffin (Joy) of Woodleaf and Shirley Barron (Steve) of Mocksville; his sons, Rusty Chaffin of Broadway, VA, Chris Chaffin of Gastonia, NC and Mickey Chaffin (Melissa) of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Jarret, Christopher, Noah, Seth, Grace, Kyrstin and Kanyon. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (1913 U. S. Hwy 601 N, Mocksville, NC 27028).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to a veteran organization or charity of your choice, or to his home church of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Mocksville.
