He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Newton, Jr. and Tammy Koontz Newton; his grandfather Arnold Joe Newton, Sr.; his wife Michelle Newton; his brother Ryan Newton (Courtney); his nieces and nephews, Colton and Briggs; and his grandparents, Geralene Newton of Woodleaf, Jack and Kay Koontz of Mocksville. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
