He is survived by: his wife Ellerwease Patterson Hargrove; his sons, Cornelius Hart (Julia) of East Spencer, McSherry Hargrove (Merna) of Hope Mills and Eric Lee Hargrove of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Ernest Hargrove (Nellie) of Mocksville, Annie Mae Taggart of Cleveland, Alberta McEachern of Salisbury, Sallie Marie Carr of Greensboro, Ethel Trimar of Mocksville and Beaurene Polk (William) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
