He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mamie Lee Perry Johnson; his grandparents, Jimmie and Jennie Hawthorne; his wife Jeanette Fowler Johnson; his son Benjamin Jr. (Carla); his sisters, Emily Perry of Salisbury and Charlotte Giles (Henry) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Jordan Warlick (William), Tyler Chuby (Chloe), Ayden Johnson and Benjamin Johnson, III; his great grandchildren, Harper Warlick and Lincoln Chuby; and his pet Hezekiah. He was also cherished by his sister and brothers in-law that have loved him as a brother for almost 50 years; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
