We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2023, at the age of 86, Ben Harvey Moore of Woodleaf, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jasper and Martha Gunter Moore; his daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Moore Nettles and Martha Gail Moore Wilson; his sister Bertha Mae Moore Upright; his grandson Carl Douglas Nettles; his great grandchild Charlie Andrew Nettles; and his sons-in-law, Robin Mark Wilson and Charles Douglas Nettles.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Belle Campbell Moore; his son Ralph Moore (Susan); his sister Mary Sue Moore Leonard; his grandchildren, Ila, Maggy Moore, Brian Nettles (Katie), John Nettles (Laura), Crystal Turner (Adam), Ben Nettles, Carol Smith (Caleb), Ian F. Nettles (Ryleigh), Laura Nettles, Rusty Wilson (Victoria) and Brice Wilson; and his granddaughter-in-law Kara Nettles. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and several nephews.
