He was predeceased by: his parents, David Daniel and Dorothy Louise Edmondson Scott; his wife Donna Rae Thomas Scott; his brother Steven Scott; and his grandson Joey.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Gilbert (Jason) of Middlesex, Tracy Williams (Chris) of Middlesex and Steven Goff (Tina) of DeRidder, LA; his sister Lisa Buck (Tim) of New Bern; his stepchildren, Tracy Davenport of Edenton and Joe Davenport (Charlotte) of Creswell; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Haley, Katelyn, Chris, Brianna, Ricky, Jordan, Victoria, Brian, Taylor, Ryan, Cassie and Jocelyn; and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Mason, Korbin, Brayden and Brandon.
