He was predeceased by: his parents, Pollock "Pal" Tenille Barnes and Annie Rae Joyner Barnes; and his brother Patrick Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his son Paul Barnes (Jessica) of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Peggy Britt of Milwaukee and John William Barnes of Potecasi; and his granddaughter Lyla Dare Barnes of Fort Mill, SC..
