Though Willie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Mahalie Montague Johnson; his son Gerald Johnson; his daughter-in-law Wanda (Chad Johnson); his granddaughters, Tiffany and Jakada; his siblings, Nellie Sturgis (George) of Wilmington, Delaware and Freeman Johnson (Delois) of Wise; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Coleman of Wilmington, Delaware, Patricia Seward of Wilmington, Delaware, Nick Alonzo Montague of Wilmington and Charles Lewis Montague (Brenda) of Wise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
