He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty "Beedie" Jones Burnette; his children, Brenda Spruill of Wise and Wallace Jones (Debra) of Wise; his mother Daisy Russell Burnette of Brooklyn; his siblings, Nancy Davis (Larry) of Durham, Edgar Burnette (Maggie Ann) of Annapolis, Larry Burnette of Brooklyn, Warren Burnette of Brooklyn, Rebecca Burnette Harrison of Henderson and Angela Burnette Taylor (Darryl) of Brooklyn; and his siblings-in-law, Isaac Harrison of Wise, Nannie Jones of Norlina, Hattie Jones of Norlina and Rosa Jones of Wise. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
