He is survived by: his wife Essie Whitaker Davis; and his siblings, Joyce D. Smith, Hilda D. Durham (Charles), John Davis (Vivian), Sherry D. Ransome (Dwight) and Dwight Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
