He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clyde Perry, Sr. and Elizabeth Melson Perry Marslender; his stepfather James McDonald Marslender; and his sister Mary Carr (late June). He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Futrell (Joe) of Winton and James M. Marslender, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Winton Baptist Church Cemetery (402 Hill St, Winton, NC 27986). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Joyce and Joe's Home (411 Pine St, Winton, NC 27986).
