He is survived by: his wife Victoria Miller "Vicki" Byrum; his children, David Wayne Byrum, Jr. of Winton, James Charles Byrum of Winton and Lucretia Marie Jones of Ohio; and his sisters, Pam Skinner of Edenton and Fay Fender of Portsmouth, VA.
