It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Cooke Owens of Winton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Beecher and Nettie White Cooke; her siblings, Beecher Cooke and Clara Harrell; her niece Claudia Jean Harrell; and her great-niece Caycee.
She is survived by: her son Michael Owens (Barbara) of Ahoskie; her grandson Brandon Owens; her sister-in-law Diane Cooke; her nieces and nephews, Cindy Konig, Debbie Jenkins, Lynn Cantrell, Bob Cooke and Rupert Harrell, Jr.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca Snook, Tabatha Riggs, Candace Gearheart, Travis Harrell, Marty Harrell, Logan Jenkins, Jordy Jenkins and Gage Cooke; and also, Faith Riggs, Dakota Gearheart and Peyton Konig.
