He is survived by: his parent Martha Barrington Upchurch; his spouse Joy Langdon; his sons, Brian Bartlett "Bart" Upchurch and William Lawrence "Bill" Upchurch III (Beaman); his grandchildren, Jackson and Camryn of Winterville; his sister Martha Alice Phillips; his nephew Brad; his niece Brooke; and his pet Breleigh.
