He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Thomas and Edith Gummo Dinkins; his stepfather Edgar Spell; his wife Christy Dinkins; his children, Cathy Mozingo (Thomas), Michael Nobles, Billy Dinkins (Nicole), Danny Dinkins, David Dinkins and Susan Carawan Davies; and his brothers, Thomas Earl Dinkins (Sharon) and Dan Dinkins (Connie). He was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
