He is survived by: his wife Vickie Staton; his sons, Darrius Best of Mooresville, NC, Damian Crandol of Greenville, NC and Camden Best of Winterville, NC; his stepson Jordin Staton of Greenville, NC; his daughter Briana Best of Greenville, NC; his stepdaughter Letoya Lawson of Winterville, NC; and his siblings, Tyrone Freeman of Bolton, NC and Teresa Best of Leland, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, with a host of other relatives and friends.
