He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bob McLaughlin and Grace McLaughlin; his wife Sherri Mealor McLaughlin; his sons, Scott McLaughlin (Megan) of Zebulon and Jason McLaughlin of Columbia; his stepchildren, Shawn Furman and Kristen Mealor; and his grandchildren, Allie Grace McLaughlin and Graham McLaughlin.
