She was predeceased by: her husband John Isaac Prayer, Sr; her sons, John Isaac Jr., Douglas Wayne, Winfred Darnell and Margie Atkinson Clark; her son-in-law Alton Blow; and her husband Bishop Brady Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Prayer, Sr. (Emma) of Ayden, NC, Elder Tyrone Prayer (Edna), Jeffrey Prayer, Sr (Patricia), Kelvin Dixon-Martin of Winterville, NC., Anthony Martin of Greenville, NC, Ronell Martin and Michelle Martin of Raleigh, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Fannie Prayer of Ayden, NC, Bettie Mae Prayer of Farmville, NC, Evangelist Frances Stancil of Newark, NJ, Vera Ebron, Evangelist Clara Smith, Pastor Veronica Cogdell of Grifton, NC and Evangelist Frances Rodgers of Farmville, NC.
