He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert "Bob" and Ellen Aldridge Hardison; his wife Gail Noble Hardison; his children, Chriss Hardison of Burlington, Mike Hardison (Rose) of Grifton and Andy Hardison (Teresa) of Grifton; his grandchildren, Josh, Sara, Drew, Evan Hardison, Ava Church and Olivia Purifoy; his siblings, Marjorie Taylor (David) of Kinston, Mary Ellen Castello of Kinston and Neal Hardison (Connie) of Fleetwood, NC; and his sister-in-law Terry Noble of Kinston.
